Taking Time To Be With You

Many people may shudder at the thought of being on their own, in their own company and left to their own thoughts and messages from their mind, body and soul.

However, taking time to be with yourself can be so therapeutic and satisfying.

Some people will do anything to avoid being on their own, finding one distraction after another to stop the process from happening.

And yet this time can be so precious when you allow it to be.  When you allow the space for you to see and witness what wants to come through.

For not only will the sad memories and thoughts show up, but you will also witness the breakthrough moments.  Those that you have been stifling because you haven’t given them the time to emerge.

They are often there, but layered under the other ‘stuff’ that you can pile on top of them.

Give yourself the time

So next time you are just about to get up out of your chair and potter, or go and put the washing on, water the houseplants or faff about - Stop!

Sit down, close your eyes and take a few minutes to yourself.

Honour you and your soul by allowing things to come through.

As they do:

  1. Witness and accept them.

  2. Watch them, listen to them, remember them.

  3. Allow them the time that they need, grant them your attention.

When you have given them the time to come through and show up for you, then you can decide on the action that you are to take.

For example, can you clear them with forgiveness or is there something else that needs to happen?

Do you need to write them down somewhere to remind you just how awesome you are?

You will know intuitively what you are to do.

Do the work

Whatever it is, do it.  Do the work.

Allow them to come through one at a time, there is no rush.

Some may need more time spent on them than you have at your disposal at the moment, this is often the case.

However, avoid sending them back down again.  Maybe write it in your journal and pledge to look at it later on when you have more time.

Everything that arises deserves some attention, in whatever form it is.

Honour it, allow it the time to be looked at, listened to, worked on, forgiven, healed and let go.

You can do this work on your own or with another person if you find it easier to do it that way.

The Gems

When you clear away the heaviness by allowing it the time and space to be witnessed, you can often then uncover the gems.

The ones that also need to see the light again, so that they can start to sparkle and take form and to develop into something spectacular, special and well worth the wait.

Almost like a reward for the work that you have done.

Value these gems.  Appreciate them.

Thank your soul for allowing you to see them.

Thank yourself for giving yourself the time and space to be able to do this.

Use the gems that you have been shown.  Work with them and allow the rewards to come into you, in whatever shape and form they arrive.

Soul Work

This soul work is so important and special.

It can literally help you to transform your life.

It can help you to be stronger, more resilient, happier and fulfilled.

Yes, there is no doubt that some of it can be painful.  However, it is more painful and damaging left there to fester than it is being allowed out into the open where it can be healed.

Help is at hand

If you know that you need to do this work but realise that you don’t want to do it on your own, then that is totally understandable. The thought of it can be quite daunting.

This is something that I can help you with.  I can support and guide you through this process.
